The One Student Ministries' Christmas Party is this Friday. We are calling it Fiesta de Navidad. There will be all you can eat tacos & nachos and give-a-ways galore. We also want everyone to bring a $5 gag gift. Don't bring a 5 dollar bill and gag yourself with it or even make yourself sick eating $5 worth of Tootsie Rolls. Just use your imagination and bring a crazy, wild, inventive, funny or goofygift around the $5 range. We will be exchanging those in a strange yet fun gift exchange game. What's the meaning?

We have a great opportunity to bless some children and teenagers this Christmas. For the next several weeks, "The Fund" offerings will be going towards taking care of four families who otherwise may not have the best holiday season. What a great privilege we have to let God's love shine through us. So, bring a little extra to put in "The Fund" and help us show others that we care.

Serve Others Before Self

We will be helping two ladies this Saturday. One senior citizen... one wife of a cancer stricken man in the church. We will be working outside serving these two ladies. This is a need that you, OSM, has been asked to handle. What an honor to be asked to serve someone. Please meet this Saturday, November 30th, @ 9:00am in the The Refuge. I am looking forward to seeing you there, serving someone. If you can, post a comment on this blog letting me know what your thoughts are on this deal and if you are planning to be there.

Calling All Decorations

Hey Guys and Gals...

We are getting ready to decorate The Refuge for Christmas. We want you to be involved with this. So, if you would like to bring anything to decorate The Refuge or the Refuge foyer, start bringing it in this Wednesday. Don't bring anything that is special to you that you will want back. I can't promise it will be returned. Lights, ornaments and garland are all acceptable items. Be creative!

Hey All... I forgot to remind everyone about Monday Night Madness. It will be this Monday @ 6:30 in the Refuge. I can't let you know what we are going to be doing, but I guarantee a good time will be had by all. If you remember last month's MNM, we did a Mall Scavenger Hunt. Ideas, Thoughts & Vision

Here is your chance! We are in the planning stages for next year's calendar. We need your input. We are lokoing for some suggestions of things that you want to do in the next year. The sky is the limit. How big can you dream? The criteria for this exercise is that suggestions must be reasonable. If you want to go to Japan on a trip, are you going to want to raise the funds to go? And if so, how? We are looking for creativity and vision. Your suggestions can be fun things and serious things. What subjects or ideas would you like to see covered in the Refuge? Any idea is a great one, so get to thinking. Let your voice be heard...
